Lead the commissioning programme for two buildings on a live delivery campus. You will coordinate the contractor, specialist vendors, independent commissioning authority and operator from system readiness through functional testing, integrated systems testing and handover.
What you would do
- Own the commissioning schedule, readiness reviews, test scripts, method statements and witness plan for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate L4 functional performance testing and L5 integrated systems testing across sequential energisation and failure scenarios.
- Chair daily commissioning meetings, maintain the issues and deficiencies log, and report clear go/no-go decisions to the project director.
- Manage the handover of test records, red-line information, operating procedures and training evidence to the operator.
What we need to see
- Proven commissioning leadership on mission-critical or similarly controlled facilities through L4 and L5/IST.
- Enough electrical and mechanical understanding to challenge incomplete installation, controls and interlock evidence.
- Experience writing or reviewing MOPs, EOPs, FPT scripts and owner-witnessed test packs.
- Comfort working to a site programme where testing windows, access and energisation dates are fixed.
