Work as part of an independent commissioning authority on a multi-hall campus. The role is hands-on: review installation readiness, witness functional testing, challenge results, manage deficiencies and support owner-witnessed integrated systems testing.
What you would do
- Review approved commissioning plans, scripts, drawings, sequences of operation and test prerequisites.
- Witness electrical or mechanical functional testing and record results, exceptions and retest requirements.
- Coordinate with the contractor and vendors to isolate faults, resolve deficiencies and protect the test sequence.
- Produce concise daily reports and maintain accurate evidence for the final commissioning and handover record.
What we need to see
- Hands-on commissioning experience in data centres, critical facilities, industrial plants or comparable environments.
- Depth in either electrical or mechanical systems, with enough cross-discipline understanding to follow integrated tests.
- Experience with functional performance testing, deficiency tracking and owner or client witness processes.
- A methodical approach and the independence to record a failed test clearly when the programme is under pressure.
